Dr Rose Wishall Ediger
Senior Advisor & Mentor
Rose Ediger is a Senior Advisor and Mentor at Nexgtgen for Earth. Rose Ediger has a varied background spanning two decades and diverse roles in local government, where she has worked to join research and practice in family and youth programs and public health. After obtaining a PhD in cultural anthropology from the American University in Washington, DC, Rose carried out assessment and development activities to support improved programs and court operations for youth and families. Later she managed a youth program, overseen by a multidisciplinary board of local partners and professionals and intended to prevent further court system involvement of youth and families. Currently Rose works as manager of Strategic Learning and Evaluation for the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment Division of Community and Behavioral Health. In this role, Rose leads evaluation and builds internal capacity to use intentionally gathered information in decision making and practice. Concurrently Rose has remained connected to the discipline through teaching anthropology to students in colleges and universities and participating in a range of professional conferences
